Lake Hills Toggle favorite

This house was the evidence of don’t judge a book by its cover. Coming on the property there was dog poop littered around, the buildings were covered in cobwebs, even the door you have to come into the building from had cobwebs right on top of it. I was definitely reconsidering my stay but as soon as we opened the door the interior sort of made up for the sub par exterior. There were also people walking out from the bushes beside the house; should definitely consider adding a fence to make families more comfortable staying there. Overall it was a decent experience but that exterior needs a lot of work.

We had a great time and the house was awesome

Place was definitely not the worst we have stayed in, but at check in we waited close to an hour to get a response from Host or Airb&b because our code did not work, but no response. Finally found a number to the host on their website and got ahold of them to get a code to check in.

We work nights and sleep during the day, but this was a little difficult to do because the home has no central air. Only window units in 2 of the 4 bedrooms and 1 in living room. This made it difficult to sleep in the other 2 rooms during day time.

Overall the place was clean and spacious. House rules wanted us to wash towels but the washer was already full of linens from someone else’s previous stay so we placed towels next to washer.

Nice quiet place to relax. The A/C wasn't what we expected. There were 3 window units and they struggled to keep it cool. Two bedrooms didn't have window units which made for warm evenings.

This place fit our family needs well. Enough beds and rooms, plenty of space. Hosts were really quick with responses. Listing was misleading about property, thought it was a whole house. Turns out, it had two apartments on one side of the building, but at least they were quiet. Maybe we misread it. Neighborhood was a little sketchy but never had a problem, maybe not ideal for families with littles but could be subjective. Price point was right so we felt we got what we paid for.

Our work crew stayed here multiple times while working in the area. Host was very accommodating and helpful when a slight hiccup occurred. I would book this place again if needed!

Great place to stay. Large main room with plenty of seating.

This place has plenty of space for a big family. 4 nice size bedrooms. There were plenty of small
Appliances (air fryer, coffee maker, microwave, etc). Lots of dishes and well stocked kitchen. The only down side was the neighborhood. Not much the owners can do about that. We booked during Thanksgiving for a large family and it was great. It is very close to the lake so I image it would be perfect for those summer get togethers.

Great place to stay!

We stayed Tracy's house for my daughter's wedding. The location was perfect. It was just a short drive from the venue. This was helpful for the day of the wedding when my daughter kept sending her dad back to pick up something that was forgot. The check in was so easy that my husband could even do it, especially when running in to to pick something up. Great stay! Very convenient! Quiet!

Great place to stay!

Two of my daughters and I were in town to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday. This was a perfect location for us!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Blue Yonder! Very private & peaceful, but still close enough to everything in town.

We came to celebrate Christmas with our grandbaby and loved WBY! Temperatures were in the 30s and 40s so we loved the fire pit. I taught my granddaughter how to skip rocks at the pond. There were plenty of games and programming for those who wanted to watch t.v. Lots of attention paid to design and very homey, inviting touches. We never had to wait more than an hour for a response to any question we asked and often responses happened in a few minutes. Enjoy this jewel!

The accommodations were great, peaceful and quiet, great place to decompress and get in tune with nature.

The house was perfect for our stay and is situated on a lot that provided a quiet, private area for our group. There was ample sleeping space for 8-10 people, and everything was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and got to see fireflies, too!

The only downsides would be that the bunk bed room doesn’t have window coverings (very bright when the sun comes up) and we weren’t given any check-out instructions (nor a response from host when we asked), so we weren’t sure what procedures to follow.

It was an amazing experience. The whole family enjoyed it. Everything is close by to shop around, the cabin had everything we needed towels, pots, pans, plenty of beds, washer and dryer. We are all pleased.

We were so pleasantly surprised with the cabin and it's beautiful surroundings. The cabin was very clean and comfortable for the seven of us. We loved relaxing on the wraparound porch while the kids fished in the pond. It was beautiful, relaxing and secluded, yet close enough to town to easily get to the lake and all of the fun activities that the area has to offer. We would absolutely stay here again!

his is a wonderful cabin, especially if you like room to roam around outside. Our kids caught lots of perch in the pond. The stream is very close and following it makes for nice hike. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only other thing we would have liked was wifi, but helped us disconnect not to have it. We would definitely stay here again!

This small cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway with a 2 to 3 person group. It is very close to the bar and you can definitely hear the music. Not that big of a deal if you like country music.

the communication with the owner was superb. Very accurate and the check-in was smooth. I missed the entrance to the cabin as I didn't read the instructions carefully. The cabin is tucked in and cannot be seen from the road. The cabin is not the latest & greatest, but it was good enough for us to enjoy the quietness and nature. Although the major road was right close to the cabin, we could not hear anything. At night, few deer ran past the backyard during campfire and that was awesome experience. The property has 3 bedrooms - lots of beds There were 2 bathrooms - one of the shower room drain didn't function properly but not a big issue. DIshwasher and microwave was updated. Kitchen was big enough for 2 families. Internet was fine. Overall we enjoyed the stay!!

Nice place, perfect for a weekend away. The shower in the master bathroom was cramped but it was a non-issue since the other bathroom was so big. Noise from nearby cabins and the saloon was a non issue, surprisingly with me and the girlfriend's stay being on a Friday and Saturday night. The kitchen was pretty well stocked

Very clean and beds were very comfortable! Enjoyed the wrap around porch and swing!
Was a little difficult to find the cabin but as long as you print out pdf directions from computer and not HomeAway, you should be fine. Loved the seclusion of this cabin! We will return.

The cabin fit the entire family comfortably, there was enough space for all of us to sit and eat dinner or play games.

Our small youth camp used Triple Oaks this week and we loved it...will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at The Spotted Fox. It was pretty much just like the pictures which is crazy to see. We deal with Airbnbs a lot and they were fantastic! A+!!
